- Allow the coil cleaner to sit for about 15 minutes on the coils.
- Spray the coil once again with the spray nozzle on your water hose to rinse off the cleaner. You will visibly see the dark, nasty grime wash off the coils. Again, remember not to let the drain pan overflow.
- Do not stand too close while rinsing off the cleaner so that you do not spray the cleaner back onto yourself, and too much pressure can damage the coils. Be sure to completely remove all traces of the cleaner.
- If you have a wet/dry vacuum, it is a good idea to vacuum out the drain pan afterwards. This will remove excess water from the pan and keep it from overflowing.
